Pilates Sessions

Experience a one-on-one workout catered to your individual needs and goals. Private Pilates sessions are offered in-studio or virtually. You will receive a whole-body workout that will leave you feeling strong and invigorated.

Buff Bones® / Osteoporosis-safe sessions

One-on-one Buff Bones® sessions are safe for anyone who has been diagnosed with osteoporosis or low bone density. This medically endorsed Pilates-based program is designed to improve bone and joint health as well as balance. During in-studio sessions you will use Pilates equipment (Reformer, Cadillac, High Low Combo Chair and small props) to build a stronger body safely.

About Me

Hey there.

My name is Claire Greenlee. I discovered Pilates and it’s benefits while recovering from a back injury. I was immediately hooked after feeling the difference in strength, stability, and balance that Pilates offered me. When I retired from the Louisville Ballet in 2001, I began to study and train to become an instructor. I knew that I wanted to learn how to move my body in a sustainable way and to help others to do so, too.

I am certified in Pilates Mat and Pilates Equipment. I am also a licensed Buff Bones® instructor, an exercise system that focuses on bone health and balance and ensures that anyone with osteoporosis can use the Pilates equipment in a safe way.  

When I teach you, you will experience a fun full body workout that centers on strength, proper biomechanics, alignment, and posture. I want you to feel strong and confident in your body and for you to be able to engage in all of the activities that you love to do, for as long as you can.

I live in the highlands neighborhood in Louisville, KY with my husband, son, and two dogs. When I am not teaching or geeking out on the science and biomechanics of Pilates, I love to hike, cook, garden, and spend time in the beautiful parks around my hometown.

My belief is that mindful movement embodies and nourishes all aspects of our well being: our physical well being, as well as our spiritual and emotional well being. Movement feeds our soul in every way!!

  I believe that Claire understands my body and the limitations it has. But, she never makes me feel inadequate or weak. Instead, she empowers me to get stronger, feel better in my own skin and with her deftly placed cues, gets me to reach goals I did not think possible! As I write this, I am a bit teary-eyed because she helps me so much that I think I would be a lost soul without her.

Claire adapts quickly to address any injuries or problem areas that pop up.  I love that Pilates can’t be “mastered.” Just when you think you have a movement down, you learn there’s a more challenging way to do it. Pilates with Claire is a practice built around strengthening your core and correcting imbalances (caused by sitting too much, poor posture and/or repetitive motion.)
